They offer young, talented individuals the opportunity to enter the mining industry as learners, via their Exxaro Learnerships program.

Exxaro Learnerships Requirements Every one of the learnerships programs given by the organization has its necessities.
Learnerships. Exxaro offers learnerships in mainly the engineering (fitters, electricians, instrumentation, etc.) and mining (underground, surface, etc.) disciplines. The formal training is done at either Grovos in Lephalale, or the Colliery Training College in Emalleni. Workplace training is done at Grootegeluk in Lephalale, and Matla near Kriel.
