#0183;#32;I got a demo of a few concentrators (Gold Genie, Blue Bowl) and have been reading up on some of the others (jig, table, cube, centrifuge). They all seem to have their strengths. I like the Genie (spiral wheel) because the gold concentrate ends up in the middle in a cup ready to go on to the next stage (refining, melting).

Blue Bowl IMO is the slowest of them all, and its tempermental, I never understood it''s popularity. I''ve used 3 or 4 different spiral wheels over the years, they are all about equally as slow but faster than the blue bowl. The old saying used to go: if it ain''t got a hole in the middle it ain''t worth a diddle ha.
